“I think one of the best things about music is that it'll never mean the same thing to everyone. For me, Ephemeral was my grief therapy for the loss of my friend.”

BIO
Hailing from Miami, ASHERAH is the electronic pop alias of Boston-based singer, songwriter, producer, and composer, Ariel Morer. Produced in collaboration with left-field electronic musician Medulasa, ASHERAH’s debut EP, Ephemeral, chronicles the grief process through shimmering sound design, atmospheric vocals, and intimate lyricism.
Prior to rebranding as ASHERAH, Morer began working with Grammy producer David Ruttenberg in her teens and saw international success when she was featured on Platinum-selling artist Klaas's "Lift Me Up" (2016), via Universal France and Warner Music Germany, making its way onto Apple Music Germany's #1 Dance album early the following year. Her subsequent work in the Miami synth pop scene preceded her invitation to perform at festivals like III Points alongside artists such as M83, SOPHIE, Flying Lotus, Denzel Curry, and Oneohtrix Point Never, and led to her opening for acts like The Radio Dept. In addition to her work as a performing artist, Morer has participated in songwriting camps for artists like Kimbra and is a resident writer and curator for Tongue Tied Music Magazine.
Ariel is a proud member of BMI and a Berklee College of Music World Tour scholarship recipient, currently pursuing her BM at their Boston campus. ASHERAH is hard at work preparing releases for 2023.
